Diego Cortez vs Geoff Harwood

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-California promoted show at Los Angeles Amo, Los Angeles,  taking place on 03/10/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Pacific Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Cortez (8 - 1) who hails from San Diego, USA and Geoff Harwood(12 - 1) from Seattle, USA.  Both Cortez and Harwood weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Hilton, and the three ringside judges are Davie Riquelme, Lucas Magorian and Kieran Romano.  

Round 1: 

Cortez lands a jab.  
Harwood steps away from his opponent and lands a cross.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Harwood dabs at his face checking for damage.  Harwood has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
