Joaquin Castillo vs Felippe Maya

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Jalisco promoted show at Polideportivo Rio de Janeiro, Guadalajara,  taking place on 12/10/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Americas Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joaquin Castillo (10 - 1) who hails from Santiago de Cuba, Cuba and Felippe Maya(8(3) - 2) from Tlaquepaque, Mexico.  Both Castillo and Maya weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jose Boda, and the three ringside judges are Miguel Alviso, Macario Floro and Enzo Hinojosa.  

Round 1: 

Maya closes the distance.  Castillo lands a double left hook to his opponents head.
