Ulmer Plassmeyer vs Ross McDermott

Boxing Daily Report from the Kalungi Promotions promoted show at Leinster Hall, Dundalk,  taking place on 14/10/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Western Europe Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Ireland, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ulmer Plassmeyer (11(4) - 1) who hails from Regensburg, Germany and Ross McDermott(10 - 1) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both Plassmeyer and McDermott weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fionn Delaney, and the three ringside judges are Sam Mulryan, Michael Sloan and Leon Mohan.  

Round 1: 

McDermott is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but Plassmeyer ties up his opponent.  Plassmeyer is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Plassmeyer and breaks the clinch.
