Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-New South Wales promoted show at University of Newcastle Sports Hall, Newcastle,  taking place on 14/10/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Oceania Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are David Kollias (9 - 2 - 1) who hails from Sunshine Coast, Australia and Clint Melrose(10 - 1 - 1(NC)) from Sydney, Australia.  Kollias weighed in at 125 pounds And 10 ounces, while Melrose weighed in at 125 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Peter Takes, and the three ringside judges are John Kokes, Ethan Capelli and Nick Eade.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Kollias has taken some damage there.  That has caused bad swelling  around the left eye.
