Brin Shubin vs John Laird

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-New South Wales promoted show at Michael Malloye Gym, Sydney,  taking place on 14/10/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia-New South Wales Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brin Shubin (7 - 3 - 2) who hails from Sydney, Australia and John Laird(7 - 2 - 2) from Sydney, Australia.  Shubin weighed in at 154 pounds, while Laird weighed in at 153 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jamie Ford, and the three ringside judges are Brad Carvelli, Mark Karalis and Colin McKay.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Shubin has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
