HuiK'o Owyang vs Shing Chai

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Jilin promoted show at Huang-fu Syut Gym, Changchun,  taking place on 16/10/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the China Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on His TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are HuiK'o Owyang (5 - 3 - 1) who hails from Shenyang, China and Shing Chai(6 - 0) from Changchun, China.  Both Owyang and Chai weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zhuang Chun, and the three ringside judges are Jun Si, Woo Jiao and Yo Ren.  

Round 1: 

Chai lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Chai gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Owyang steps to the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Chai lands an overhand right.  
Chai gets on the inside and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Chai lands a cross.  
Chai feints a jab, and then connects with a cross.  
Chai is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Owyang hits home with a right uppercut.  Owyang wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Chai dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Owyang throws a right uppercut, but Chai holds on to his opponent.  Chai is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Chai pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Chai advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Chai throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot.  Chai clinches his opponent.  Chai is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Chai to stop fouling.  
As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
