Bonar Fai vs Jay Amadou

Boxing Daily Report from the Badalian Promotions promoted show at Maroua Ipolla, Maroua,  taking place on 16/10/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Cameroon-Extreme-Nord Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CRTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bonar Fai (10 - 2) who hails from Maroua, Cameroon and Jay Amadou(11(1) - 1 - 1) from Maroua, Cameroon.  Both Fai and Amadou weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fabron Baudhuin, and the three ringside judges are Tenenan Ngaham, Bruce Sima and Paul Essame.  

Round 1: 

Fai advances into close range.  Fai pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Amadou throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
