Alvino Armijo vs Luis Colmenares

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Costa Rica-San Jose promoted show at Gimnasio Fight Club, San Jose,  taking place on 16/10/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Costa Rica-San Jose Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alvino Armijo (7 - 3 - 1) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Luis Colmenares(3 - 7) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Armijo weighed in at 147 pounds, while Colmenares weighed in at 146 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Tadzio Karp, and the three ringside judges are Marco Leo, Macario Gabaldon and Kiki Briones.  

Round 1: 

Colmenares closes the distance.  Armijo lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.
