Xavier Sosa vs Xaverius Barreda

Boxing Daily Report from the Mufwembe Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo Este Gavino, Santo Domingo Este,  taking place on 17/10/2022:

Clearly Mufwembe Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Dominican Republic-Santo Domingo Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xavier Sosa (7 - 1) who hails from Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic and Xaverius Barreda(9 - 0) from Santo Domingo Oeste, Dominican Republic.  Both Sosa and Barreda weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Carreno, and the three ringside judges are Porfio Puerto, Angel Vara and Carlos Olivero.
