Eiji Kai vs Satoshi Morikawa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Osaka promoted show at Osaka Haga, Osaka,  taking place on 23/10/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Eiji Kai (6 - 3 - 1) who hails from Osaka, Japan and Satoshi Morikawa(10 - 2) from Amagasaki, Japan.  Both Kai and Morikawa weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kei Ueda, and the three ringside judges are Goro Tsuchida, Yoshi Nakano and Hikaru Mayeda.  

Round 1: 

Morikawa is looking to close the distance and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Morikawa ties up his opponent.  Morikawa pushes his forearm into Kai's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Morikawa to stop fouling.
