Boxing Daily Report from the AI Azerbaijan-Absheron promoted show at Baku Djabiyev, Baku,  taking place on 23/10/2022:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Azerbaijan-Absheron Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IQTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mehman Darwish (8 - 2) who hails from Baku, Azerbaijan and Amer Aboud(7 - 1 - 1) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Both Darwish and Aboud weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fazail Babayev, and the three ringside judges are Alekber Ameen, Bashir Amirbeyov and Vahid Jamal.
