Jake Pierce vs Josh Prothero

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at Waitakere Bringhurst, Waitakere,  taking place on 27/10/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jake Pierce (9 - 2) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Josh Prothero(10 - 0) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Pierce and Prothero weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Woodburn, and the three ringside judges are Oliver Ngarongomate, Corey Hopper and Dave Loar.
