Hikaru Yogi vs Jiro Tamura

Boxing Daily Report from the Paintsil Promotions promoted show at Goro Chiba Gym, Funabashi,  taking place on 01/11/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Chiba Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hikaru Yogi (13 - 0) who hails from Chiba, Japan and Jiro Tamura(8 - 0) from Kashiwa, Japan.  Both Yogi and Tamura weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michi Sakamoto, and the three ringside judges are Kenji Aoyama, Takeo Nakanishi and Kaede Ishimoto.  

Round 1: 

Tamura steps inside.  Tamura sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Yogi throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Tamura throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.
