Salim Ebuk vs James Akiibua

Boxing Daily Report from the Hacopyan Promotions promoted show at Kampala Fahs, Kampala,  taking place on 03/11/2022:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Uganda Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Salim Ebuk (7 - 1 - 2) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and James Akiibua(10 - 0) from Lira, Uganda.  Ebuk weighed in at 159 pounds and 12 ounces, while Akiibua weighed in at 159 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Neil Rugasira, and the three ringside judges are Polo Bourdillon, Dale Kayonga and Mark Hamya.
