Davie Edwards vs Euan Wallace

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Minnesota promoted show at Colin Daley Gym, Minneapolis,  taking place on 13/11/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the USA-Deep South Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Davie Edwards (4 - 0) who hails from Jackson, USA and Euan Wallace(3 - 5 - 2) from Huntsville, USA.  Both Edwards and Wallace weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Phil Ekberg, and the three ringside judges are John Howell, Fraser Lesley and Mark Polson.  

Round 1: 

Wallace is looking to keep his distance.  Edwards connects with a cross.  
Wallace is on target with a jab.  
Edwards advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  Edwards holds on to his opponent.  Edwards leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Wallace pushes his forearm into Edwards's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Edwards closes the distance.  Edwards quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Edwards throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Edwards ties up his opponent.  Edwards leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Edwards steps inside.  Edwards pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Wallace's body.  
Edwards quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Wallace attempts to land a right hook, but Edwards slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Edwards is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Edwards lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.

Wallace steps away from his opponent.  Edwards quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Edwards advances into close range.  Edwards pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Wallace tries to keep the action at long range.  Edwards hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Edwards is looking to close the distance.  Edwards lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Edwards hits home with a cross.  
Edwards is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  
Wallace lands a cross.  
Wallace switches the action to the outside.  Edwards lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Edwards lands with a sharp jab.  
Wallace sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Edwards drives a right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Edwards is looking to close the distance.  Wallace pivots to the side of his opponent.  Edwards digs in a left uppercut to Wallace's body.
