Malik Hakro vs David Odera

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Kampala District promoted show at YMCA Ground, Kampala,  taking place on 14/11/2022:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Uganda Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Malik Hakro (4 - 0 - 1) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and David Odera(6 - 3 - 2) from Gulu, Uganda.  Both Hakro and Odera weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Kaana, and the three ringside judges are Mark Hamya, Dave Ojara and John Ludigomkasa.  

Round 1: 

Hakro is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Hakro.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
