Montana Beltre vs Santiago Borrayo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Argentina-Buenos Aires promoted show at Kiki Cueva Gym, Mar del Plata,  taking place on 12/11/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Publica, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Montana Beltre (11(3) - 0 - 1) who hails from La Plata, Argentina and Santiago Borrayo(8 - 1) from Panama City, Panama.  Both Beltre and Borrayo weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alfonso Olan, and the three ringside judges are Zelipe Vita, Lisandro Guerra and Francisco Travieso.

As they grapple, Beltre pushes his forearm into Borrayo's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Beltre about fouling.  
Beltre steps inside.  Borrayo hits home with a sharp right uppercut.  
Beltre lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Beltre lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  Beltre tries to land a left hook, but Borrayo parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Beltre gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Beltre ties up his opponent.  Beltre uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Borrayo behind the head. 
Beltre lands a firm cross.  
Beltre gets on the inside.  Borrayo throws a left hook, but Beltre holds on to his opponent.  Borrayo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Beltre lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Borrayo recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Borrayo attempts to land a left uppercut, but Beltre slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Beltre lands a cross to the head, a left hook to the body and a jab to the head.  
Beltre gets on the inside.  Beltre quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Borrayo throws a right hook, but Beltre ties up his opponent.  Beltre uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Borrayo's kidney. 
Borrayo steps to the outside and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Borrayo feints a cross, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Beltre contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Borrayo is on target with a sharp cross.  
Borrayo throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Beltre closes the distance.  Borrayo throws a right hook, but Beltre clinches his opponent.  Beltre uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Borrayo's kidney. 
Beltre lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS BORRAYO TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Beltre clinches his opponent.  Borrayo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Borrayo recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Borrayo lands a spiteful jab.

Beltre lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Beltre advances into close range and whips in a nasty right hook to his opponents ribcage.  BORRAYO IS HURT!  Borrayo quickly recovers. 
Beltre digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Beltre closes the distance.  Borrayo attempts to land a left uppercut, but Beltre slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Beltre digs in a firm left hook to Borrayo's body.  Beltre throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Beltre digs in a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.  Beltre clinches his opponent.  Beltre tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Borrayo's kidney. 
Beltre drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Borrayo throws a left hook, but Beltre ties up his opponent.  Beltre is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Beltre to stop holding.  
Borrayo tries to keep the action at long range and drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Beltre is on target with a firm right hook to Borrayo's body.

Beltre is looking to close the distance and drives a stinging right hook into Borrayo's body.

Beltre lands a cross to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND SENDS BORRAYO SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Beltre!
