Marques Sinyangwe vs Naeem Kabeya

Boxing Daily Report from the Sangweni Promotions promoted show at Lusaka Ngenda, Lusaka,  taking place on 13/11/2022:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Marques Sinyangwe (9 - 1) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Naeem Kabeya(9 - 1(1) - 1) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Sinyangwe weighed in at 114 pounds and 13 ounces, while Kabeya weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nwa Hamabilo, and the three ringside judges are Ben Chiputa, Ibeamaka Urbano and Ben Chiputa.  

Round 1: 

Sinyangwe gets on the inside and lands a solid left hook.  
Kabeya is looking to keep his distance.  Sinyangwe quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Sinyangwe is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook.  Sinyangwe throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.

The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kabeya dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Kabeya.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Sinyangwe closes the distance and hits home with a solid left hook.  
Sinyangwe pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a left hook into Kabeya's body.
