Marjun Ricardo vs Loredo Grande

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Guayas promoted show at Jax Bolivar Gym, Guayaquil,  taking place on 28/11/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ecuador Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Marjun Ricardo (9 - 2 - 1) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Loredo Grande(4 - 8) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Ricardo weighed in at 125 pounds and 15 ounces, while Grande weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Tamez, and the three ringside judges are Pedro Solis, Joaquin Mejia and Pedro Solis.  

Round 1: 

Ricardo hits home with a cross.

Grande gets on the inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Grande.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
