Verneri Ankelo vs Pellervo Kuusela

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Finland-Southwest Finland promoted show at Turku Pyysalo, Turku,  taking place on 18/11/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Finland-Southwest Finland Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Nelonen, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Verneri Ankelo (8 - 3) who hails from Turku, Finland and Pellervo Kuusela(7 - 4 - 1) from Turku, Finland.  Ankelo weighed in at 232 pounds and 11 ounces, while Kuusela weighed in at 247 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kosti Ihalainen, and the three ringside judges are Mooses Laituri, Vaino Waltari and Panu Peltola.
