Josh Owusu vs Shayan Rasheed

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Greater Accra promoted show at Accra Dotse, Accra,  taking place on 19/11/2022:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ghana-Greater Accra Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Josh Owusu (10 - 1) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Shayan Rasheed(10 - 1) from Accra, Ghana.  Owusu weighed in at 134 pounds and 12 ounces, while Rasheed weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Razi Adusei, and the three ringside judges are Sammy Bamfokwakye, Razi Adusei and Gregor Bedwei.  

Round 1: 

Owusu gets on the inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Rasheed has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
