Waqar Qasim vs Cong Tiu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Iran-Razavi Khorasan promoted show at Waleed Burki Gym, Mashhad,  taking place on 21/11/2022:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Iran-Razavi Khorasan Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waqar Qasim (4 - 4 - 1) who hails from Mashhad, Iran and Cong Tiu(7 - 0 - 1) from Mashhad, Iran.  Both Qasim and Tiu weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ibrahim Morad, and the three ringside judges are Khalid Nasser, Atif Bangura and Syed Rajput.  

Round 1: 

Tiu pivots to the left of his opponent.  Qasim is on target with a cross.  
Tiu drives a left hook into Qasim's body.  
Qasim connects with a right hook.  
Qasim throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Tiu clinches his opponent.  Qasim leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Tiu uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Qasim behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
