Paul Owen vs Dillon Mallis

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Texas promoted show at Andy Pitcairn Gym, Austin,  taking place on 02/12/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-SouthWest Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Owen (5 - 4 - 1) who hails from San Antonio, USA and Dillon Mallis(5 - 4 - 2) from Houston, USA.  Both Owen and Mallis weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amon East, and the three ringside judges are Brett Sproule, Spencer Aurelio and Chris Suit.  

Round 1: 

Owen connects with an overhand left.  
Mallis throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.
