Sam Nesmith vs Mark Owens

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Canada-British Columbia promoted show at Vancouver Ross, Vancouver,  taking place on 17/12/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Canada Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sam Nesmith (8 - 0) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Mark Owens(9 - 2) from Burnaby, Canada.  Nesmith weighed in at 244 pounds and 7 ounces, while Owens weighed in at 218 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Seth Kinnon, and the three ringside judges are Connor Blakely, James Clelland and Sam Mortimer.
