Leroy Dieng vs Laron de Balzac

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Senegal-Dakar promoted show at Gage Herard Gym, Dakar,  taking place on 31/12/2022:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Senegal-Dakar Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leroy Dieng (5 - 4) who hails from Pikine, Senegal and Laron de Balzac(9 - 2) from Dakar, Senegal.  Both Dieng and de Balzac weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Reinald Mbow, and the three ringside judges are Brigham Coly, Forrest Coly and Fletcher Duras.

de Balzac walks Dieng down, trapping him on the ropes.  de Balzac knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  de Balzac lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body, AND DROPS DIENG TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
de Balzac digs in a forceful left hook to Dieng's body.  DIENG IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  Dieng now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Dieng switches the action to the outside.  de Balzac sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab to Dieng's body.
