Can Gencay vs Ufuk Sokmen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Turkey-Istanbul promoted show at Turkey-Istanbul Gym, Istanbul,  taking place on 01/01/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Turkey Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NTV Spor, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Can Gencay (8 - 0) who hails from Ankara, Turkey and Ufuk Sokmen(6 - 3 - 2) from Istanbul, Turkey.  Both Gencay and Sokmen weighed in at 160 pounds.
