Taro Sugiyama vs Daichi Takenaka

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Saitama promoted show at Ace Boxing Gym, Saitama,  taking place on 01/01/2023:

Clearly AI Japan-Saitama have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Saitama Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Taro Sugiyama (10(4) - 1) who hails from Koshigaya, Japan and Daichi Takenaka(11 - 1) from Saitama, Japan.  Both Sugiyama and Takenaka weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ichiro Miyazaki, and the three ringside judges are Satoru Matsui, Yuichi Mihara and Hikaru Masaki.  

Round 1: 

Sugiyama steps inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.
