Santiago Barreras vs Juan Fortun

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Honduras-Cortes promoted show at San Pedro Sula Arrendondo, San Pedro Sula,  taking place on 12/01/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Central American Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Todo Deportes TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Santiago Barreras (10 - 3) who hails from Choloma, Honduras and Juan Fortun(7 - 3 - 2) from Tegucigalpa, Honduras.  Both Barreras and Fortun weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Francisco Millian, and the three ringside judges are Cipriano Lanza, Montel Gutierrez and Montel Gutierrez.
