Jake Pierce vs Josh Prothero

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Maeka, Christchurch,  taking place on 27/01/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Oceania Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jake Pierce (9 - 3) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Josh Prothero(11 - 0) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Pierce and Prothero weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dave Sprouse, and the three ringside judges are Mike Muncie, Ian Dixon and Alen Nist.
