Fikret Maksudov vs Akbar Dilbazi

Boxing Daily Report from the Njoroge Promotions promoted show at Baku Alekperov, Baku,  taking place on 14/01/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Azerbaijan Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IQTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Fikret Maksudov (10 - 2 - 1 - 1(NC)) who hails from Sumqayit, Azerbaijan and Akbar Dilbazi(6 - 2 - 1) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Maksudov weighed in at 126 pounds, while Dilbazi weighed in at 125 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Samad Farra, and the three ringside judges are Ahmed Beibutov, Shamil Abdurrahmirov and Alesger Aslanov.
