Sancho Narciso vs Ramirez Baez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Costa Rica-San Jose promoted show at Gimnasio Fight Club, San Jose,  taking place on 16/01/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Costa Rica-San Jose Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sancho Narciso (5 - 0 - 1) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Ramirez Baez(2 - 7 - 1) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Narciso weighed in at 159 pounds and 8 ounces, while Baez weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Marco Leo, and the three ringside judges are Xabat Velez, Alejandro Callejas and Vicente Pareja.  

Round 1: 

Baez steps away from his opponent.  Narciso feints a left hook, and then is on target with a jab.  
Narciso closes the distance and drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
As Narciso tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Baez.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
