Nemesio Cortes vs Joaquin Martinez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Antioquia promoted show at Medellin Almeda, Medellin,  taking place on 27/01/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Colombia Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CARACOL, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nemesio Cortes (11 - 0) who hails from Medellin, Colombia and Joaquin Martinez(8 - 0) from Itagui, Colombia.  Cortes weighed in at 135 pounds, while Martinez weighed in at 134 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Selestino Corbo, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Montesano, Carlos Betancur and Diego Macias.
