Jaguar Bega vs Oihane Briceno

Boxing Daily Report from the Adabor Promotions promoted show at Ramirez Salido Gym, Guatemala City,  taking place on 20/01/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Guatemala-Guatemala Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jaguar Bega (2(1) - 4) who hails from Mixco, Guatemala and Oihane Briceno(4 - 1) from Villa Nueva, Guatemala.  Bega weighed in at 122 pounds, while Briceno weighed in at 121 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jeraldo Lusco, and the three ringside judges are Neron Soza, Isidro Austria and Fausto Loya.  

Round 1: 

Bega tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a firm cross.  
Briceno connects with an overhand right.  
Briceno closes the distance.  Bega is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Briceno closes the distance and walks Bega onto the ropes.  Briceno pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Bega switches the action to the outside and lands a firm cross.  
Briceno lands a jab.  
Briceno pivots to the left of his opponent.  Bega hits home with a left hook.  Briceno wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bega dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Briceno steps to the outside and hits the target with a solid jab.  
Bega is looking to keep his distance and hits home with a solid overhand right.  
Briceno forces Bega to retreat onto the ropes.  Briceno sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Bega lands a sharp jab.

Briceno manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Briceno lands a right hook.
