Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Cathey, Christchurch,  taking place on 27/01/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Leven (5 - 4 - 1) who hails from Hamilton, New Zealand and Chris Sherriff(5 - 5 - 3) from Christchurch, New Zealand.
