Montana Gerena vs Vidal Macatangay

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-NCR promoted show at Ovidio Rodriguez Gym, Quezon City,  taking place on 29/01/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Philippines-NCR Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Montana Gerena (6 - 1 - 4) who hails from Pasig, Philippines and Vidal Macatangay(4 - 8 - 3) from Pasig, Philippines.  Both Gerena and Macatangay weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nasario Babasa, and the three ringside judges are Iago Monterroso, Diego Mangay-ayam and Ramirez Dimapasoc.
