Montraie Mpeta vs Kian Bapela

Boxing Daily Report from the Ofosu-Ayeh Promotions promoted show at Xyshaun Magqwaka Gym, Cape Town,  taking place on 31/01/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Africa Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Montraie Mpeta (8 - 2) who hails from Mitchells Plain, South Africa and Kian Bapela(8 - 3) from Durban, South Africa.  Both Mpeta and Bapela weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Luvolwethu Nyatama, and the three ringside judges are Oringo Arthur, Rob Ndombe and Runako Mashaba.
