Ollie Mapisa vs Joey Van Dyk

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Ian Van Ryneveld Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 31/01/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ollie Mapisa (4 - 3 - 3) who hails from Randburg, South Africa and Joey Van Dyk(4 - 6 - 1) from Johannesburg, South Africa.  Mapisa weighed in at 146 pounds and 12 ounces, while Van Dyk weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Thomas Kotze, and the three ringside judges are Vuyisile Sekola, Ubanwa Koranteng and Tshepo Dikgacoi.
