Jonathan Cloete vs Eric Sangweni

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-KwaZulu-Natal promoted show at Umlazi Malherbe, Umlazi,  taking place on 09/02/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Southern African Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jonathan Cloete (8 - 2) who hails from Umlazi, South Africa and Eric Sangweni(11 - 0) from Mamelodi, South Africa.  Cloete weighed in at 118 pounds, while Sangweni weighed in at 117 pounds and 8 ounces.
