Mark Adcock vs Hayden Elliott

Boxing Daily Report from the Chamelyan Promotions promoted show at Peter McNevin Gym, Adelaide,  taking place on 11/02/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mark Adcock (3 - 1 - 1) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Hayden Elliott(9 - 0 - 1) from Adelaide, Australia.  Both Adcock and Elliott weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Floyd MacFarlane, and the three ringside judges are Mark Carnes, Ben Samaras and Roger Milton.  

Round 1: 

Elliott advances into close range.  Elliott pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a stinging left uppercut.  
Adcock pivots to the right of his opponent.  Elliott is on target with a left uppercut to Adcock's liver.  
Elliott steps inside and manages to force Adcock into a neutral corner.  Elliott pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Elliott connects with a sharp right uppercut.  
Elliott lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Elliott gets on the inside.  Elliott quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Elliott tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Elliott pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Adcock closes the distance and throws a left hook, but Elliott holds on to his opponent.  Elliott is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
