Lorenzo Moscoso vs Jerrold Checo

Boxing Daily Report from the Rumfa Promotions promoted show at Cali Atienza, Cali,  taking place on 13/02/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Colombia-Valle del Cauca Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CARACOL, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lorenzo Moscoso (6 - 1) who hails from Cali, Colombia and Jerrold Checo(8 - 1 - 6) from Buenaventura, Colombia.  Both Moscoso and Checo weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fraco Solar, and the three ringside judges are Antonio Gonzalez, Emanuel Bazan and Francisco Carrera.  

Round 1: 

Moscoso steps inside and is on target with a right hook.  
Moscoso lands a solid right uppercut.  
Checo steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Moscoso lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Moscoso throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Moscoso closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Checo in a corner.  Moscoso lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.
