Edward Bowens vs Jordan Matteson

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Connecticut promoted show at James Speir Gym, New Haven,  taking place on 15/02/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Connecticut Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Edward Bowens (9 - 0) who hails from Waterbury, USA and Jordan Matteson(7 - 0) from New Haven, USA.  Bowens weighed in at 146 pounds and 10 ounces, while Matteson weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gus Phemister, and the three ringside judges are John Kippen, James Waterston and Paul Muncie.
