Sierra Regalado vs Jaguar Ponciano

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Pichincha promoted show at Quito Izquierdo, Quito,  taking place on 25/02/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ecuador-Pichincha Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sierra Regalado (8(1) - 1) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Jaguar Ponciano(6 - 4 - 4) from Quito, Ecuador.  Regalado weighed in at 122 pounds, while Ponciano weighed in at 121 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Guitron, and the three ringside judges are Paco Florez, Rogelio Remigio and Ovidio Vallez.  

Round 1: 

Regalado advances into close range.  Ponciano tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
