Amjad Azizi vs Raimy Kole

Boxing Daily Report from the Busia Promotions promoted show at Kumasi Omane, Kumasi,  taking place on 17/02/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ghana-Ashanti Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amjad Azizi (5 - 3 - 1) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Raimy Kole(7 - 3) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Azizi weighed in at 126 pounds, while Kole weighed in at 124 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Andy Salawu, and the three ringside judges are Mason Attoh, Amon Amartey and Vincent Lamptey.  

Round 1: 

Azizi steps away from his opponent.  Kole lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kole gets on the inside.  Kole sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Azizi steps away from his opponent.  Kole hits the target with a hard jab.  
Kole gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kole lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Kole gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kole manouvers Azizi into a corner.  Kole hits home with a left hook.

Kole is on target with a right hook to Azizi's ribcage.  Kole tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
