Mortimer Dubled vs Anicetus Oyer

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Haiti-Ouest promoted show at Boswell Notte Gym, Carrefour,  taking place on 18/02/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Haiti Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTVC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mortimer Dubled (7 - 3) who hails from Delmas, Haiti and Anicetus Oyer(4 - 2) from Petionville, Haiti.  Both Dubled and Oyer weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gerard Dauphin, and the three ringside judges are Bassett Cantona, Germain Baudhuin and Courvoisier Cotillard.  

Round 1: 

Oyer tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with an overhand left.  
Oyer is looking to close the distance.  Dubled throws a left hook, but Oyer holds on to his opponent.  Oyer leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Dubled pushes his forearm into Oyer's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Dubled to stop fouling.  
Oyer connects with a right hook.  Oyer holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Oyer's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Oyer pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a solid left hook.  
Dubled throws a left hook, but Oyer ties up his opponent.  Oyer hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Oyer steps inside and connects with a right uppercut.  
Oyer lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Oyer lands a solid left uppercut.  
Oyer closes the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Dubled steps inside.  Oyer pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a stinging right hook.  As Dubled tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Oyer dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Oyer lands two right hooks followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Oyer feints a left hook, and then lands a jab.  
Oyer gets on the inside.  Dubled throws a right hook, but Oyer clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
