Nuru Verjee vs Kaleb Chepkok

Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at PalPal Gymnasium, Nairobi,  taking place on 21/02/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nuru Verjee (9 - 2(1)) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Kaleb Chepkok(11 - 2 - 1) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Verjee and Chepkok weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rich Ashira, and the three ringside judges are Lee Rebelo, Scott Merande and Shaun Arusei.
