Amon Kiongo vs Veltry Lai

Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at PalPal Gymnasium, Nairobi,  taking place on 21/02/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Nairobi Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amon Kiongo (10 - 0) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Veltry Lai(9 - 3 - 1) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Kiongo and Lai weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Scott Merande, and the three ringside judges are Rich Ashira, Shaun Arusei and Lee Rebelo.
