Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kano State promoted show at Bristol Palace Hotel, Kano,  taking place on 26/02/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Theophilus Faruk (12(8) - 0) who hails from Ilorin, Nigeria and Ifeanyi Gbenga(8 - 3(1)) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Faruk and Gbenga weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chinedu Shekari, and the three ringside judges are Jay-Jay Ukaegbu, Lukman Aderemi and Hope Ukuh.
