Davie Edwards vs Robert Platini

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Minnesota promoted show at Colin Daley Gym, Minneapolis,  taking place on 07/03/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the USA-Deep South Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Davie Edwards (5 - 0) who hails from Jackson, USA and Robert Platini(9 - 3 - 1) from Nashville, USA.  Both Edwards and Platini weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ben Lourie, and the three ringside judges are Rich Mellado, Patrick Landreth and Noel Alford.  

Round 1: 

Edwards advances into close range and lands a left hook.
