Foster Evra vs Granger Diaw

Boxing Daily Report from the Danquah Promotions promoted show at Café Just 4 U, Dakar,  taking place on 28/02/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Senegal Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTS, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Foster Evra (11 - 2) who hails from Dakar, Senegal and Granger Diaw(7 - 1) from Pikine, Senegal.  Both Evra and Diaw weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Thibaud Ly, and the three ringside judges are Rance Artaud, Leggett Kasse and Brigham Coly.  

Round 1: 

Diaw tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Evra lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
