Callum Chekamondo vs Naeem Sekajja

Boxing Daily Report from the Manyama Promotions promoted show at Kampala Emily, Kampala,  taking place on 02/03/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uganda-Kampala District Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Callum Chekamondo (9 - 2) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Naeem Sekajja(6(1) - 0 - 1) from Kampala, Uganda.  Chekamondo weighed in at 147 pounds, while Sekajja weighed in at 146 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Shayan Waheed, and the three ringside judges are Shontae Batuma, LeBron Omondi and Dave Ojara.
